Windy Pastures Alpaca Farm is family owned and operated by Margaret Brunet. Youngest son Chris helps to ensure that the barn is kept clean and orderly, and that our Alpacas are healthy and content while grazing in our pastures, or eating high quality hay. This care promotes excellent animal health, which in turn assures high standard breeding for the purpose of producing healthy alpaca offspring (known as cria).

Windy Pastures' prime focus and commitment has been placed on improving the genetics of the species alpaca, from the family Camelidae. Our breeding program involves using sires of exceptional bloodlines, and genetic background.

Many of the sires we choose presently, and have chosen in the past have a proven background in shows and are winners in fleece competitions and of course are proven herdsires.

We aim for quality and strive for the best

In order to accomplish this I have linked with other farms in a cooperative manner in order to be able to offer my clients the animals and bloodlines best suited to their particular requirements.
